![]() Standalone Picodrive works great! Flawless on running Comix Zone. Someone else noticed this as well, but j-selby believed the problem to be caused by a slow PC. Citra standalone generally runs between 2 to 4 times as fast as the core. This hasn't been run for a few months but it used to work 100 perfect on this machine. It was taking 30 seconds + to get through the intro on Diddy Kong Racing. Both FCEUmm and Nestopia had bad crackling in the intro music, whereas Quicknes was flawless. I’ve been trying out the Citra core in Retroarch and noticed some severe speed issues not present in the standalone emulator. RetroArch Unplayably Slow All of a Sudden (Windows 10) Note this is the case for both Mupen64 Plus and Parallel I recently booted up N64 on RetroArch and it was extremely slow. If your PC doesnt meet the minimum requirements for the emulator to run smoothly, you will. Standalone virtuaNES is great, also by the creator of SNES 9x for 3DS if I remember correctlyįor Retroarch, I found that QuickNES core was the best at high demand games like R.C. The main reason for slow PCSX2 speeds is device incompatibility. ![]() Another thing to do, is to use a actionreplay. If you like the features that Retroarch provides (I've found Retro Achievements to be a lot of fun!), I've found that the SNES 2005 core (not 2005 Plus) works best for most demanding SNES games like Super Mario RPG, though even it stutters on SMW 2: Yoshi's Island. if the game doesnt use any fast loaders, you can also fiddle with the drive emulation modes in the configuration. ![]() Use SNES9x for 3DS as a standalone emulator for anything you really want to run perfectly. You can get all of these from the Universal Updater app. ![]() In case you haven't gotten an answer for this, I've found the following. ![]()
